Red Seal Millwright | $45.58 P/hour + Night Premium $1.43 P/hour

On behalf of our client, we are looking to hire a Red Seal Millwright or at least 4th year millwright for a manufacturing plant in Langley. This will be a rotating shift with the following schedule:

Graveyard- Sunday to Thursday 11PM to 7AM

Morning – Monday to Friday 7AM to 5PM

Afternoon- Monday to Friday 3PM to 11PM

The schedule will be change in 2025 to 12 hour rotating shift Monday to Sunday,.

Your tasks as a Red Seal Millwright:

• Routine maintenance and repair on of all Plant equipment including but not limited to; pulpers, extruders, thermo-forming machines, printers, padders, screw compressors, pumps, fans and blower

• Tool changes and machine setup

• Welding, lathe & milling work

• Support machine operator

• Troubleshoot and maintain the plant’s electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems

• Working on Conveyors, PLC, assisted control panels, gearboxes, pumps (water, HVAC),

The required qualifications of a Red Seal Millwright:

• Red Seal Millwright

• Manufacturing and pulp & paper industry asset

• Physically fit

• Ability to work morning and graveyard shift

• PLC experience is an asset

• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Welding, lathe & milling work
