Our client is a leading commercial real estate company. They are looking for a Property Manager located in the Toronto area.

As a Property Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to take the reins of this iconic culinary destination and create a custom-made experience for locals, visitors and residents alike. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of the establishment, ensuring the aesthetics of the Food Hall and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities of the Property Manager:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day operations, building management and tenant concerns.
  • Lead and supervise an operations team.
  • Actively contribute to marketing, community involvement and events.
  • Foster meaningful partnerships with non-profit organizations, culinary organizations, breweries, arts and music groups, and integrate them into programming.
  • Provide up-to-date reports to owners regarding rentals, marketing and general operations.
  • Manage site security and risk management and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Oversee capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.
  • Participate in capital and operating budgeting, reporting and effective lease management to achieve maximum financial return and asset preservation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive property management experience, ideally in a commercial environment with restaurant tenants.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations and other types of related financial reports.
  • Smart Serve and Health & Safety certifications are considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of building systems, lease negotiation, documentation and administration.
  • Ability to establish direct relationships with customers and focus on the customer experience.
