Maintenance Technician

Our client (based in Vaughn, Ontario), a leader in the food industry is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician/Electrician for permanent opportunity. Your tasks as the Maintenance Technician/Electrician

·Troubleshoot machinery

·Working with other technicians to learn the machines and process’

·Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment and facilities in the processing & packaging departments

·Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery using hand and power tools.

·Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.

·Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

·Diagnose and trouble shoot electrical issues (motors/ PLCs/ control panels etc.)

The required qualifications of the Maintenance Technician/Electrician

·442A/309A license is a must, ideally 442a

·Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a maintenance technician role

·Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment

·High attention to details

·Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

·Ability to lift 50 lbs
