General Labourer

We are conducting immediate interviews for able-bodied, safety-conscious labourers available for work in beautiful Squamish, BC!! What are the Responsibilities?

• Supporting operators in running the facility safely and efficiently
• Shipping, receiving, and movement of equipment and materials around the site
• Mechanical disassembly of production/processing equipment
• General housekeeping, site cleaning & organization of equipment and consumables
• Ensuring the site, equipment and consumables are available/prepared for operational readiness on a 24/7 basis
• Emptying and cleaning conveyers, hoppers, and other equipment as required during outages
• Picking up garbage, cleaning up spills, emptying garbage cans into dumpsters, etc.

What are the Requirements?

• **Must live in or close to Squamish, no LOA or accommodations will be provided
• Labour experience within an industrial setting
• Ability and desire to perform physical/manual labour on an ongoing bases
• Ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds
• Mobility and dexterity
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts on a 4 on/4 off rotation involving both days and nights
• Availability for a year-long contract
• Must be safety conscious and willing/able to adhere to stringent HSE requirements and wear appropriate PPE
