The Civil Engineering Technologist will be responsible for:

• Creating comprehensive Civil 3D models with attention to detail.
• Generating precise plan, profile, section, and earthworks drawings.
• Actively advancing design and modeling techniques to enhance project efficiency.
• Collaborating closely with a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, planners, and technical support staff.
• Undertaking occasional site work as necessary, balancing approximately 80% office-based tasks with 20% fieldwork.

The required qualifications for the Civil Engineering Technologist are:

• 4+ years of experience in subdivision and site plan Land Development, transportation, and municipal infrastructure.
• Proficiency in designing and drafting grading, servicing, and stormwater management.
• Strong skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and AutoDesk Civil 3D.
• Demonstrated excellence in drafting with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Ontario Building Code (OBC) and municipal/provincial standards would be considered an asset.
• Eligibility for registration with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT); preference given to candidates with a C.Tech. or C.E.T. designation.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or equivalent.
