Job Title: Account Manager/Outside Sales -Manufacturing

Location: Markham, Ontario

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Account Manager to join an exceptional team in the Markham, Ontario area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and nurturing client relationships while providing technical expertise and support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a unique manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated key accounts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients, offering insights and recommendations on product usage, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services to existing clients.
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities or threats.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in technical sales and account management within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Experienced with AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
