Position: Trucking/Transportation Administrator

Location: Brampton, Ontario.

Salary: 50-55K annually

About the Role:

This on-site role involves providing crucial administrative support to the operations team, including managing schedules, coordinating communications, handling documentation, and assisting with project management. The role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist with document preparation, editing, and office duties (e.g., phones, scanning, printing).
  • File Management: Organize and maintain both digital and physical files.
  • Expense Management: Handle expense reports and travel arrangements.
  • Data Management: Compile data for reports, update systems, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Project Support: Assist in planning, implementing, and reporting on operational projects.
  • Meeting Coordination: Plan meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Policy Implementation: Help assess and communicate company policies to ensure compliance.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with finance, sales, service, and parts teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of business administration experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (macros, pivot tables), and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AI tools for administrative processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
