Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Contract Type: 3-month contract (possible extension)
Location: Concord, ON
Parking: Free On-Site Parking
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation:
- $19 per hour
- Day Shift (Monday to Friday)
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (exact hours to be finalized)
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, issue visitor passes, connect them with their point of contact, and ensure proper sign-in/sign-out procedures.
- Answer phone calls, redirect to appropriate extensions, and take messages as needed.
- Receive and distribute mail and parcels.
- Unbox and organize office supplies in the Stationary Cabinet/Supply Shelf.
- Assist with customer order entry when required.
- Generate production documentation, including work orders and barcode labels.
- Reconcile production runs in the Lot Tracking Database, input Material Utilization data, and report discrepancies to the PCL Team.
- Verify and reconcile automotive shipments.
- Close completed jobs in the ERP system.
- Audit active job cards and archive completed ones weekly, maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of office administration experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in business administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.
- Professional attitude and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems. Computer literacy is essential for this role.
