Job Description:

As a Full-Time Sprinkler Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire protection systems in commercial and residential buildings. Your primary duties will include:

– Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of sprinkler systems.

– Installing piping, valves, and other components according to design specifications and local building codes.

– Performing routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.

– Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning sprinkler systems.

– Collaborating with other team members and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

– Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

– Valid Sprinkler Fitter License or Journeyman Certification.

– Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Sprinkler Fitter.

– Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

– Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations related to fire protection systems.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
