Key Responsibilities: Installation Service Technician

• Install both curved and straight stairlifts into client homes.
• Read and interpret installation diagrams to meet specifications.
• Interact with clients, explaining the process and answering their queries.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of stairlifts post-installation.
• Handle occasional breakdown troubleshooting.
• Manage documentation, customer payments, and ensure inventory is accounted for.
• Utilize hand tools to customize installation materials for a variety of surfaces such as wood, tile, and marble.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain the company vehicle, cell phone, and tablet provided to you.

Requirements: Installation Service Technician

• Availability for weekend work and occasional travel within and beyond Ontario, including overnight stays.
• Strong construction background and experience with various surfaces.
• Ability to solve mechanical and electrical problems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• OSSD Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Must pass a criminal background check and be physically fit to perform heavy lifting.
