Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of ICI construction and mid-rise projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Initiation:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Execution and Monitoring:
    • Lead project teams, ensuring effective coordination and communication among team members.
    • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure construction meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Budget and Cost Management:
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial reporting.
    • Approve expenditures and manage procurement processes to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
    • Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Promote a culture of safety and implement safety plans and procedures.

  • Project Closure:
    • Oversee project closeout, including final inspections, documentation, and client handover.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the ICI construction sector.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale ICI construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or similar certification is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
