Location: Woodbridge, ON

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Superintendent to lead an amazing production team in the Woodbridge area. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in a union environment who is passionate about driving improvements and fostering a collaborative and engaging work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

·Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards.

·Lead a team with 5 direct and 40 indirect reports.

·Manage a facility that operates 24/7, with a primary shift of 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, while being on call as needed.

·Implement and drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

·Develop, mentor, and engage team members.

·Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve production issues.

·Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

·Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications:

·Proven experience as a Production Superintendent or similar role, preferably in a unionized environment.

·Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

·Demonstrated experience in implementing lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

·Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

·Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

·Flexibility and the ability to pivot as needed to meet changing demands.

·Comfort with dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
