What are the responsibilities?

  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure product or service consistency
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Work closely with production and service teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
  • Train staff on quality control processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Source vendors to obtain competitive pricing for goods and services
  • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information
  • Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • HR Admin support – manage employee on & offboarding, help with recruitment efforts (job postings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews – nothing too intense!)

What are the requirements?

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma preferred (BA, HR, engineering technologist, etc)
  • Proven experience in quality control, purchasing and production
  • Strong preference for candidates who have handled some HR responsibilities previously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRIS and ERP systems
