About Our Client: Our client in the manufacturing space is hiring. They are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their organization and contribute to their continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing and overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department in a manufacturing facility.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and strategies to ensure optimal equipment functionality and uptime.
  • Managing a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Planning and prioritizing maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinating with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
  • Conducting regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • Managing inventory and procurement of spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
  • Analyzing equipment performance data and implementing improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with external contractors and vendors as needed for specialized maintenance projects or services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.
  • Experience in troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Knowledge of maintenance-related software systems for tracking work orders, managing inventory, and analyzing equipment performance data.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols relevant to maintenance activities in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to achieve maintenance objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and procedures.
