Electrician

We are currently interviewing for a manufacture in Guelph who looking for an electrician for permanent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in an electrician role and looking for an position where there is growth and learning incentives. Interested, please read on….

·Up to $42 per hour based on experience + overtime

Your tasks as the Electrician

·Demonstrated working knowledge of lock-tag-try and the Canadian Electrical Code

·Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems

·Interpreting and reading blueprints and electrical drawings

·Provide preliminary planning, sketches and estimates for installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems.

·Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment and resolve identified issues/problems

·Knowledge of automation systems and a strong mechanical aptitude

The required qualifications of the Electrician

· 309A or 442A certificate of qualification as Industrial Electrician

· High School Diploma or GED equivalency

· 3 years manufacturing/industrial experience preferred

· Participation and successful completion of workplace skills assessment

· Be prepared to work a rotating 12-hour day/night shift (Includes weekends and holidays)
