Job Title: Experienced Welder Fitter

Location: North York, Ontario

Job Type: Full-time

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder Fitter to join our dynamic team. As a Welder Fitter and key player in the team, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, fitting, and demonstrating strong blueprint reading capabilities. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of excellence in metal fabrication and welding.

Responsibilities: Welder Fitter

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications.
• Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques (MIG) to join, cut, and shape metal components.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure precise fit and assembly.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets industry standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect and troubleshoot welding equipment to identify and address issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.

Qualifications: Welder Fitter

• 7 or more year proven experience as a Welder Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to work accurately to specifications.
• Proficient in MIG welding; capable of setting up, adjusting, and maintaining MIG welding equipment
• Ability to interpret and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments.

Education and Certifications: Welder Fitter

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding certification is preferred.
