Warehouse Manager – Distribution Center

Brampton, ON

Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 based on experience, with a yearly bonus potential + Comprehensive benefits package

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join a dynamic team at a new distribution center in Brampton, ON. As the Warehouse Manager, you will report directly to the Director of DC Operations and play a key role in driving associate engagement and ensuring safety excellence across all shifts. Responsibilities:

• Promote and enforce safety protocols and resolve safety concerns
• Ensure the efficient operation of material handling equipment
• Foster a motivated and high-performing work environment
• Set performance standards and provide coaching to associates
• Oversee shift activities to ensure efficiency and service accuracy
• Measure and report individual and team performance against set standards
• Participate in the Joint Health & Safety Committee and lead safety initiatives
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment at all times
• Lead and support associates through regular coaching, feedback, and recognition
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
• Oversee accident investigations and ensure proper documentation of any incidents
• Conduct associate counseling and performance reviews as required
• Ensure associates receive necessary training and updates on role changes
• Supervise payroll to ensure accurate compensation for all associates
• Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Lead by example, demonstrating strong performance and conduct

Qualifications:

• A college or university degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical training and experience
• 3-5 years of managerial experience in supply chain management, distribution, or warehousing
• Experience working with WMS and RF technology (HighJump, AS400, etc.)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and high-intensity environment, with a focus on exceeding measurable performance metrics
• Proven experience in team building and fostering strong associate relationships
• Familiarity with LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives is an asset
• Knowledge of promoting a quality-driven and safety-conscious work environment
• Strong customer and internal relationship management skills
• Ability to stay flexible in a dynamic, evolving work environment
• Proficiency with Excel, Access, Email, and Word
• Excellent organizational, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, including active listening, training, and verbal and written instruction
