Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee restaurant construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a proven track record in managing restaurant builds. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a keen understanding of the unique requirements associated with restaurant construction.

Project Planning and Execution:

– Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets specific to restaurant construction projects.

– Coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.

– Oversee and direct construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

– Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

– Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.

Team Leadership:

– Lead and supervise project teams, including subcontractors, field personnel, and other stakeholders.

– Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members to achieve project goals.

Quality Control and Compliance:

– Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.

– Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Financial Management:

– Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiations.

– Track project expenses and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.

Problem Solving and Risk Management:

– Identify and address potential project risks and issues proactively.

– Implement corrective actions and solutions to mitigate risks and resolve project challenges.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

– 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a focus on restaurant or hospitality projects.

– Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong track record of successful project delivery.

– Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.

– Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.

– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

– Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).

– Ability to work under pressure and handle complex, fast-paced project environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
