**Position Title:** Financial Controller

**Job Summary:**

As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health and integrity of our organization and its franchise units. Working closely with the executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s overall objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Financial Reporting and Analysis:**

– Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses.

– Conduct regular financial reviews to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

– Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

2. **Budgeting and Forecasting:**

– Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.

– Monitor budget performance, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

3. **Compliance and Risk Management:**

– Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.

– Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

4. **Cash Flow Management:**

– Monitor cash flow and liquidity, providing recommendations for optimal cash management.

– Work closely with franchise units to streamline financial processes and improve cash flow efficiency.

5. **CPA Partnership:**

– Collaborate with external CPA firms to facilitate audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements.

– Act as the primary liaison between the company and external auditors.

6. **Franchise Financial Support:**

– Work closely with franchise owners to provide financial guidance and support.

– Develop and implement financial training programs for franchisees.

**Qualifications:**

– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

– Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role, preferably in a franchise-based business.

– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
