We are excited to welcome a proactive and motivated Business Development Manager to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging new clients and vendors through outreach, building and maintaining relationships, and generating revenue within your vertical. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of how to solve real problems within an emerging market.

Key Responsibilities:

– Seek new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and other outreach methods.

– Manage a 360-degree sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals.

– Build and maintain relationships with organizations across the battery supply chain.

– Generate quotes, purchase orders, and proposals tailored to the scope of each project.

– Collaborate with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide custom solutions

– Develop expertise in large-format lithium-ion batteries, battery recycling, repurposing, and reuse services

– Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that pricing, services, and terms are mutually favorable.

– Identify and engage organizations interested in purchasing batteries and other renewable equipment.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

– 5-8 years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.

– Experience in sales training and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

– Proactive and self-motivated approach to business development.

– Familiarity with the battery supply chain and equipment sales.

– Strong organizational and project management skills.

– Willingness to travel as needed for industry events (conferences, trade shows, client visits, etc.).

– Proven track record of building relationships and nurturing partnerships with key customers.

– Results-driven with a passion for achieving ambitious sales targets.
