It’s vacation season, we are looking forward to the good times and all the sun we can soak in. Returning to the office after a vacation can be challenging, as you may experience post-vacation blues or a sense of disorientation. Here are some recommendations to help ease the transition while making the most of your return to work and staying motivated for your next time off!

1. Plan ahead: 

Before your vacation ends, you should spend some time organizing your tasks and priorities for the first few days back. It will give you a clear roadmap and help you feel more prepared when you return.

2. Transition day:

Consider planning a transition day between your vacation and your first day back to work. It will give you time to unpack, catch up on household chores, and mentally prepare for the transition.

3. Block the first morning back:

Consider blocking off the first morning of your return to work to focus on catching up and regaining your workflow. 

  • Avoiding unnecessary meetings or appointments during this time. 
  • Use this dedicated time to go through your emails, messages, and any pending tasks that require your immediate attention. 

By setting aside uninterrupted time, you can regain control over your workload and avoid feeling overwhelmed by an overflowing inbox or a sudden influx of tasks. It allows you to ease into work at your own pace and establish a sense of productivity from the start.

4. Arrive early:
