We are searching for an experienced Red Seal Millwright for a our client located in Richmond, BC.
Job duties:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Assist with building and enhancing the preventative maintenance program
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, including involvement with PLCs
- Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and part plans
- Install, relocate, and modify machinery as operational needs evolve
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and compliance standards
- Keep detailed maintenance records using the CMMS system
- Proactively develop your skills with ongoing training opportunities
Requirements:
- Red Seal Millwright Ticket is ideal, but we will also consider individuals presenting other Industrial Mechanic qualifications if they present strong maintenance experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanics and basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask
- PLC familiarity
- Comfortable using CMMS platforms
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing and 5S methodologies
Details:
- There is a straight day and a straight afternoon shift available
- Base wage between $42-44/hour, with premiums available for off shifts
- Monthly profit sharing
