We are currently hiring a Millwright (433A) for a leading food processing and manufacturing facility in Burlington, Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Millwright looking for stable employment, competitive pay, and strong benefits in a high-demand manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and food manufacturing or FMCG production environments.

Available Shifts (Choose One)

-Afternoon Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM

-Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM OR 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM ➤ Night shift includes $2.00/hour premium

Key Responsibilities – Millwright

Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PDM), and corrective maintenance (CM) on production equipment

Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems

Work on equipment including:

>Conveyors and packaging systems

>Pumps, grinders, fans, and blowers

>Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

>Welding equipment, lathes, and power tools

Perform TIG welding and mechanical fabrication/repairs

Install, align, and commission new machinery and production equipment

Respond to maintenance work orders using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Complete accurate documentation for maintenance, inventory, and labour tracking

Follow all GMP and food safety standards

Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Valid Industrial Millwright License (433A required)

Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or food processing environments

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

Proficient in TIG welding

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in hot and cold industrial environments

Must have own tools

Strong English communication skills

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Compensation & Benefits

$44.25/hour competitive wage

On-site cafeteria

$350 tool allowance

$175 boot allowance

Perfect Attendance Bonus ($1/hour worked during eligible period)
