CNC Mill Programmer & Machinist
Location: Mississauga
Pay: $28 – $38/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Straight Shifts: Day OR Afternoon Shift

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled CNC Mill Programmer & Setter to join a precision machining environment supporting high-end industries including aerospace, medical, defense, and advanced manufacturing.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of programming, setup, and production on complex parts. If you enjoy working on tight tolerances, solving machining challenges, and being part of a high-quality, detail-driven shop—this is a strong long-term opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Program and set up CNC milling machines (3, 4 & 5-axis)
  • Work with horizontal machining centers
  • Create and optimize programs using Mastercam
  • Perform G & M code programming and editing as needed
  • Design and build fixturing to support production
  • Interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Run first-offs and support production runs
  • Perform in-process inspection and quality checks using precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of CNC mill programming and setup experience in a precision machining environment
  • Strong experience with 3–4 axis machining (5-axis is a strong asset)
  • Proficiency with Mastercam (SolidWorks experience is an asset)
  • Strong understanding of G & M code
  • Ability to read complex drawings and work with tight tolerances
  • Experience with Haas and/or Fanuc controls
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
  • Experience in aerospace, medical, defense, or similar high-precision industries
  • Machinist certification
  • Experience designing fixturing and improving machining processes
Additional Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for industry clearances)
