What are the Requirements?
·Oversee day-to-day operations of a busy, fast-paced processing facility
·Ensure facility is maintaining environmental and regulatory compliance standards on a 24/7, 365 basis
·Promote safety culture/ensure a safe work environment via development and implementation of safety plans and training; maintain environmental and regulatory compliance standards.
·Manage P & L – proactively deliver financial results commensurate with operations budget and company goals, ensure ongoing profitability of the business
·Drive employee relations and company culture, support a happy, healthy, collaborative work environment
·Foster positive change by challenging the status quo, developing a culture of learning and continuous improvement
·Drive customer retention and business growth by proactively seeking to understand customer needs and exceeding their expectations.
·Develop organizational capacity by clearly defining roles, responsibilities, providing feedback, coaching and development for all staff.
·Deliver consistent results through effective project execution, personnel and resource allocation, and intelligent planning
·Manage/handle extensive reporting (this facility supports government clients, effective reporting is a critical responsibility)
·Support hiring, training, performance management, and termination of employees
·Other duties as required; this is a management role requiring adaptability
What are the Requirements?
·Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, industrial, process, etc.)
·P. Eng strongly desired
·May consider non-engineer candidates with significant depth operating within a relevant process environment coupled with impeccable leadership exposure
·10+ years of engineering and/or operating experience within a complex processing environment – oil & gas, waste/wastewater management, sawmills, pulp & paper mills, etc)
·Demonstrable, increasing management responsibility, experience in industrial services, manufacturing or engineering industries
·P & L oversight experience mandatory
·Must be comfortable and accustomed to working around hazards, including a variety of physical conditions such as moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to bio-solids
·Ability to work evenings or weekends when required to respond to emergency callouts (rare)
·Must be able to travel freely and without restrictions to the USA or other countries as required
