Job Title: Quality Laboratory Assistant

Location: Nanticoke, ON

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented **Quality Laboratory Assistant** to join our team at the Nanticoke facility. In this role, you will assist in maintaining the quality and consistency of our products by supporting various laboratory functions, including sample testing, data recording, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to following strict quality standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

– Perform routine testing and analysis of samples to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

– Record and maintain accurate data and results from laboratory tests.

– Assist with preparing laboratory equipment and materials for testing.

– Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized laboratory environment.

– Assist in maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment as needed.

– Support quality control team in identifying any issues or inconsistencies in product samples.

– Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure high standards are maintained.

– Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to quality control processes.

– Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to lab procedures and processes.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in a scientific or technical field is an asset.

– Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control environment is preferred but not required.

– Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

– Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and procedures.

– Good communication and organizational skills.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is an asset.

Working Conditions:

– Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

– Day shift schedule with 40 hours per week.

– Laboratory environment, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
