Position Overview
A manufacturing facility in Windsor is expanding its machining department and is hiring operators with experience in precision drilling work. This role involves operating specialized equipment used for deep-hole machining in metal components.
The position is suited for individuals who are comfortable working in a production environment where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate deep drilling equipment for production requirements
- Produce precise, deep-bore features according to technical specifications
- Monitor machining operations to maintain quality and alignment standards
- Inspect finished components using measurement tools to verify accuracy
- Make basic adjustments to equipment as needed during operation
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of assigned machinery
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Support team productivity and workflow on the shop floor

Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience operating gun drill equipment or similar deep-hole drilling machinery
- Previous experience working in a machining or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision standards
- Comfortable working rotating shifts, including days, nights, afternoons, and weekends
- Consistent, safety-focused work habits in a production environment
