We are seeking a Staff Accountant with public accounting experience to join our growing clients firm in Markham.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping
- Prepare T4s, T5s, personal tax returns, and GST/HST returns
- Prepare financial statements and compilations
- Communicate with clients and government agencies
- Support partners and managers on client files
Requirements:
- Enrolled in CPA program
- 2+ years public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax
- Proficient in Excel, Caseware & TaxPrep
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
