Position Title: Service Technician, Ottawa, Ontario
Department: Field Services
Reports to: Field Service Manager
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Service Technician for the Greater Ottawa Area to join our team, specializing in servicing high-end commercial beverage equipment, including premium coffee machines. This is a remote position, with technicians working from home and on the road to support clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial beverage equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service calls promptly and effectively.
- Manage service van inventory to ensure readiness for customer needs.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to resolve equipment and operational issues efficiently.
- Communicate accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the Sales Department with technical expertise as needed.
- Participate in new product field tests and market trials.
- Support customer programs such as technical training and trade show initiatives.
- Travel as required to resolve customer issues and troubleshoot equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma, degree, or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with computers, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and clear a background check.
