We are looking for a Senior Schedule Coordinator to work onsite in Edmonton, Alberta. Our client is a reputable material-handling solutions company with multiple sites in Canada and around the world! This is a full-time permanent position, and you will be working on-site full-time. As part of the Service Operations, you will be assisting with the service delivery in your assigned territory. You will be responsible for the service requests flow through our management system and scheduling and dispatching service technicians to ensure the timely repairs and upgrades of customers’ equipment.

Responsibilities Of Senior Schedule Coordinator
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience in the planning and execution of services.
- Practical management of the service scheduling organization to ensure that assigned work is assessed as being performed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Personally manage critical/complex tasks or ‘Protect’ customers. Open service requests and schedule Field Technicians to successfully complete the job. Track and receive the materials required to complete the service. Organize the rental of the necessary equipment, as well as subcontracting if necessary.
- Directly manage and onboard subordinates as they transition from one coordinator to another as staff change.
- Manage the service work schedule for assigned customers and Field Technician
- Make sure the right technology, tools, and location are assigned for the job.
- Make sure field technicians are scheduled for at least 2 weeks.
- Manage the workload of direct reports. Coordinate “workload” as needed.
- Provide forecasts based on completion dates to TOMs
- Oversee the planning of larger projects as modernizations to manage risk and execution with the TOMs.
- Ensure invoicing or progress billing is done daily for completed work
- Conduct weekly WIP reviews/daily meetings with coordinators and FOMs
- Manage and open SRs for emergency outages.
- Proactively communicate with customers and operations to improve operational efficiency and execution.
- Follow and assist in the application of all safety rules and procedures, including those established by the client.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications of a Senior Scheduler Coordinator
- 4+ years as a Scheduler Coordinator/Dispatcher/Logistics within industrial, construction or manufacturing (similar to crane repair company)
- Strong experience with scheduling and dispatching service request
- Some mechanical aptitude (understand parts, tools, service scheduling, consulting to clients/service techs)
- Some leadership experience
- Knowledge of the CSA and relevant provincial CNESST agreements or existing collective agreements.
- Very strong systems and PC skills.
