We are actively interviewing for a Senior Financial Analyst coming from Manufacturing, Commodity or CPG industry for one of our clients who is a leader in their industry, located in Mississauga. if you have your CPA Designation and 3- 5 years experience in a Senior Financial Analyst role we want to hear from you.

Your tasks as the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Balance sheets
  • Inventory reconciliations
  • Perform variance analysis on actuals vs. budget/forecast
  • Provide insights on top-line performance, trade spend, expense, and other key metrics
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, supporting annual external audits
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Ensure timely preparation & filing of Canada tax returns and other taxes
  • Other ad-hoc requirements

The required qualifications of the Senior Financial Analyst:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (commodity industry preferred)
  • CPA Designation / Accreditation is a requirement for this role
  • Current or prior audit experience is an asset
  • Current of prior experience in taxation is an asset
  • Strong skills in technical accounting and understanding of IFRS principles.
  • Must be an advanced user of Excel and experienced in creating complex financial models
  • 3-5 years experience in a Senior Financial Analyst role
  • Must be able to go into the 5 days a week
