Overview
We are hiring a Scheduling Coordinator to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation within the packaging/corrugated industry.
This role is critical to keeping production on track—balancing scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and supplier coordination to ensure materials and orders flow efficiently from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Coordination
- Plan and manage daily production schedules
- Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet deadlines
- Expedite urgent orders through production
- Communicate schedule updates with production and customer service teams
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Order raw materials (board/feedstock) for production and inventory
- Review and validate purchase orders against supplier confirmations
- Manage supplier communication (delays, discrepancies, special orders)
- Track and update delivery dates and lead times
Inventory & Reporting
- Work closely with Inventory Coordinator to maintain optimal stock levels
- Monitor feedstock levels and adjust as needed
- Maintain accurate records and update systems (ERP / scheduling tools)
- Generate daily reports for management and operations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Customer Service to align production timelines with customer expectations
- Support issue resolution related to supply, scheduling, and delivery
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 1+ year corrugated manufacturing experience OR 2–3 years in packaging/manufacturing in a similar role
- Experience in production scheduling, purchasing, or coordination
- Strong Excel skills (used daily)
- Solid math and analytical ability
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to change
- Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written English)
