Overview:
We are seeking personable and professional Event Registration Hostesses to support the Italian Trade Commission's Wine Tasting Events in Toronto and Ottawa. This is a one-day engagement in each city, ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills and a polished, service-oriented demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage guest check-in at the registration desk
- Cross-reference names against the RSVP list and mark attendance
- Distribute name badges and event materials
- Provide basic directions within the venue
- Maintain a clean and organized check-in area
- Represent the event and the Italian Trade Commission with professionalism
Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, or front-desk/reception roles is an asset
- Ability to remain composed and efficient in a busy event setting
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Professional attire is required (business formal)
