Our client, an innovator and leading ‘OEM’ of commercial cooking equipment to the hospitality food industry, is in search of a Regional Technical Manager, responsible for the Montreal region.

Your tasks as the Regional Technical Manager:
·Interview, hire, negotiate contracts as needed
·Assist in planning, assigning, and directing the goals of the service organization, including inventory management, first time fix rate, and resolution time
·Provide communication back to the Service Partners on their performance to ensure they can take the appropriate action to meet the needs of our customers.
·Prepares monthly territory reports and travel/calendar itineraries in a timely manner.
·Review and approve service partner warranty invoices and ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner.
·Address complaints and resolve problems in a timely manner ensuring that the appropriate Service Partner is providing our customers professional service.
·Responsible for supporting sales process including End Users, Equipment Dealers, Manufacturers Representatives, Regional Sales Managers and the Regional Sales Directors, etc.
·Other duties assigned
The required qualifications of the Regional Technical Manager:
·A minimum of 5+ years of experience
·Must be fully bilingual.
·Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
·Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
·Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
·Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills at all levels
·Self-starter.
·Detail oriented.
·Able to work independently and as a team player.
·Enthusiastic, motivated and results-oriented.
·Valid clear drivers license
