Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our operations team. Under close supervision, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and parts between production areas. You will help maintain production flow by preparing schedules for material delivery and utilizing appropriate equipment to transport items on the shop floor. Safety, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Operations:

Unload incoming shipments (trucks, trailers, containers), verify contents against the manifest, and check for damage or discrepancies.

Report shortages, damages, or mis-shipments accordingly.

Safely move materials to appropriate storage areas.
Order Picking:
-
Accurately pick product based on order specs (lot, batch, serial number).

Transport materials to shipping or delivery areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Label, tag, bundle, wrap, or palletize orders as needed.
Outbound Operations:

Verify labeling, quantities, and addresses to ensure shipments are complete and accurate.

Load pallets/products into trailers or containers safely and efficiently.
Inventory & Equipment:

Maintain cleanliness and safety of all equipment.

Participate in cycle counts and inventory control.

Key inventory adjustments as required.
General Warehouse Duties:

Repack cases, repair damaged goods, and operate shrink-wrap machine.

Maintain cleanliness of trailers, docks, and other working areas.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED preferred
-
OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus
-
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
-
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs using proper techniques
-
Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
-
Ability to shift priorities and work in fast-paced environments
-
Familiarity with warehouse systems and operations
-
Comfortable with repetitive motion using hands and feet
-
Availability to work any shift, including overtime as needed
Language & Math Skills:
-
Able to read and interpret SOPs, safety guidelines, and shipping documents
-
Able to write basic reports and correspond with team leads or supervisors

Basic arithmetic, understanding of weight/volume measurements, and metric units
Working Conditions:
-
Warehouse environment with physical demands including lifting, standing, and equipment operation

May involve exposure to hot/cold environments and working around machinery
