Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Engineer to join a growing team. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance department and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to the plant equipment and the facility. This role is pivotal in enhancing plant equipment, developing and managing a preventative maintenance program, and identifying opportunities for facility and equipment improvements. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the maintenance department to ensure optimal plant operations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
• Identify, plan, and execute continuous improvement projects to enhance plant efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and improvements across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plant equipment and processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities and improvements.
• Provide training and support to maintenance staff on best practices and new procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience in an industrial maintenance department.
• Proven track record of creating and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of plant equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
