We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our manufacturing plant located in Langley. You will report directly to the Plant Manager. Our company operates five manufacturing facilities across Canada.

Your tasks as a Maintenance Manager:
- Review existing production lines and identify opportunities for performance improvement (increased output, reliability, reduced waste)
- Troubleshoot production lines and supporting systems to achieve increased uptime
- Seek out and investigate technology upgrades and process improvements, presenting research to the operations team
- Manage technical team and oversee the work of contractors
- Support other plant processes and operational systems (including maintenance systems and practices) in day-to-day operations
- Identify areas for improvement and support the plant’s continuous improvement strategy by planning and executing CI-related projects
- Ensure the department operates within the maintenance budget and assist in preparing capital and department budgets
- Analyze quality issues as required and develop solutions to resolve them
The required qualifications of a Maintenance Manager:
- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in a manufacturing plant
- 5+ years of experience directing maintenance activities
- Molded Pulp or Pulp and Paper experience would be an asset
- Experience working with equipment suppliers, mechanical/electrical contractors, engineering consultants, and others to improve production line performance and reduce waste
- Ability to progress on projects independently
- Experience using Auto-Cad and/or Inventor is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be available during off hours for consulting and intervening during emergencies
