Job Title: Warehouse Sorter / Loader-Unloader

Location: Kingston, Ontario

Salary: $19.47 per hour Schedule:

· Monday to Friday: shift 2:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. / 4:00 a.m – 8:15 a.m based on volume needs

· Occasional weekend shifts during peak periods.

· Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.

· Potential for long-term or permanent employment based on performance.

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Sorters / Loaders-Unloaders to join a fast-paced logistics and distribution team in Kingston. This position involves working in a busy, high-volume facility that operates with both manual and automated systems. Candidates should be comfortable with physical work, quick decision-making, and maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

· Sort and organize packages by destination, size, and weight according to delivery schedules.

· Load and unload freight from trucks and conveyors in an efficient and safe manner.

· Manually handle bulk and oversized items that cannot be processed through the automated system.

· Assist with pre-loading delivery vehicles by address and route.

· Operate manual pump trucks and other warehouse tools as required.

· Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and adherence to site security rules.

· Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition.

Qualifications

· Physically able to lift up to 50–70 lbs repeatedly and perform constant standing, bending, and movement throughout the shift.

· Must have steel-toe or composite safety footwear and valid government-issued photo ID.

· Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment.

· Must be dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working under time-sensitive conditions.

Experience

· Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or freight sorting environment preferred.

· Experience with manual handling, conveyor systems, or trailer loading is an advantage.
