Laser Operator (Bystronic / Trumpf / Messer – Metal Manufacturing)
Requirements: Crane License REQUIRED
Location: Oakville, ON
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join a fast-paced metal manufacturing team.
In this role, you will operate Bystronic, Trumpf, or Messer laser machines, perform quality checks, and ensure production meets specifications.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and experience in precision metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up laser cutting machines (Bystronic / Trumpf)
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
Perform in-process inspection and quality checks
Update SPC (Statistical Process Control) data
Troubleshoot minor machine issues
Complete production and downtime documentation
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow health & safety procedures

Requirements

High School Diploma
2+ years experience operating laser machines
Experience with Bystronic, Trumpf, or Messer equipment
Crane License (mandatory)
Forklift license is an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Basic math skills and attention to detail
SPC knowledge is an asset
Strong communication and teamwork skills
