FuzeHR is now hiring talented Heavy Duty Mechanics in Fort St John, BC! We are on the hunt for 3-4 talented HD Mechanics with strong experience maintaining heavy trucks & trailers within a dealer/service environment, at least one at Foreman capacity. These are exciting, highly lucrative opportunities offering mid $50’s – 60’s depending on technical certifications. What are the Responsibilities?

• Oversee day to day activities of technicians, providing technical oversight, supervision and performance management
• Dispatch technicians according to skill level and training certifications
• Facilitate smooth operation of the shop, effectively control workflow and supervise SAFE operation and maintenance of tools
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and technicians to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
• Oversee and participate in Quality Assurance activities (QA inspections, job progress & quality, training technicians in quality assurance)
• Perform road tests
• Other duties as required to support safe, efficient shop & service operations

What are the Requirements?

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HD shop/service experience maintaining heavy trucks & trailers
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience – more is always desirable!
• Process, service-oriented Candidates with dealership experience strongly preferred
• CVIP highly desirable, but will consider candidates without
• Preference for individuals with formal training/certifications in Daimler, Detroit Diesel, Cummins, etc.
• Must present expert knowledge of trucks & trailers
• Class 5 License mandatory, Class 1 or 3 = bonus!
• Preference for self-starters with great communication & decision-making skills, and confident leadership abilities
