We are looking for a responsible and dedicated General Assembler for one of our clients in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a long term, temp to perm position for the right candidate. If you have some General Assembly experience, are comfortable lifting to 50 lbs. and working in a manufacturing environment and are looking for a LONG-TERM position, please give us a call today!

What Are The Perks:

• Pay rate: $19.00/ hour
• Shift: Standard work hours – Mon-Thursday 7:00 am to 3:15pm; Friday = DAY OFF or rarely 7:15am to 2:15pm
• 40 hours per week paid (OFF most Fridays but client pays full week at 40 hours)
• Permanent employment after 18 weeks (40 hours/week) long-term career stability

Responsibilities:

• Basic hand tool usage – place LED components onto brackets, secure using manual tools
• Soldering experience is helpful but not mandatory (10% of time spent weekly)

Qualifications:

• General assembly experience (electrical is a plus)
• Working with small hand tools
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn new things quickly
• Ability to take direction and work in a team or independently – positive attitude
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs
