Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to join their dynamic accounting team! This role will involve managing the complete bookkeeping process for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both small and large clients and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles.
π Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. π
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, reports, and summaries for clients, ensuring timely and accurate information. π
- Client Management: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing financial insights to support their business decisions. π¬π€
- Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards, maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. π
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) for data entry, reporting, and financial analysis. π»
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to support clientsβ needs and contribute to a positive team environment. π€
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on accounting practices and industry trends to enhance service offerings and improve efficiency. ππ
π Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably within an accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), QuickBooks. π
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships. π£οΈβ€οΈ
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual: English and French.
