Fuze HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Coordinator to lead the electrical team at a long-standing cement plant in Richmond, BC. You will oversee electrical maintenance, automation, and instrumentation, managing a team of supervisors, automation specialists, and unionized electricians.
This role is ideal for candidates with industrial manufacturing experience who have transitioned from hands-on trades to supervisory roles. You will ensure plant reliability, minimize downtime, and optimize maintenance operations while mentoring and developing your team.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6am or 7am start
Compensation:
- Base salary of $110K – $130K

What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate the electrical maintenance team (supervisors, automation specialists, union electricians)
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical systems, drives, motors, instrumentation, and automation
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections, ensuring uninterrupted plant operations
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to address issues and optimize processes
- Participate in strategic planning, budget management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support staff development through mentoring and training
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or Certified Tradesman (Electrician)
- 3+ years in a leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment (supervisor/foreman/manager)
- Experience with electrical maintenance, automation systems, and PLC troubleshooting
- Ability to work on-site, boots-on-the-ground, and engage with a team
- Long-term career orientation; candidates looking for growth into leadership roles are highly preferred
- Comfortable with older plant equipment as well as future upgrades (long-term project involvement)
