Job Summary: The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on construction sites or within facilities. This role involves supervising a team of electricians and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The Electrical Foreman collaborates with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities: Electrical Foreman

·Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and electrical workers on-site.

·Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to ensure proper installation.

·Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

·Assign tasks, provide guidance, and mentor team members to improve productivity and skill development.

·Inspect electrical work for quality and adherence to project requirements.

·Maintain inventory of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.

·Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and scheduling.

·Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.

·Conduct safety meetings and enforce adherence to workplace safety protocols.

·Maintain accurate documentation, including work logs, reports, and inspection records.

Qualifications: Electrical Foreman

·High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship program preferred.

·Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local authorities.

·Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with supervisory experience preferred.

·Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and safety codes.

·Excellent leadership and team management skills.

·Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

·Proficiency with electrical tools, testing equipment, and construction software.

·Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment: Electrical Foreman

·Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, often in construction or industrial settings.

·May require lifting, standing, or working in confined spaces for extended periods.

·Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company and safety regulations.

·May involve travel to various job sites.
