Customer Service Representative (Parts)
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Parts Representative to join our team in Edmonton. This role involves assisting customers with trailer parts inquiries, processing orders, providing technical support, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of trailer parts and components, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to quality service.
Compensation:
- $30/hr – $35/hr with flexibility depending on experience
- 8am – 5pm M-F onsite schedule
- RRSP match

Main tasks of the Customer Service Representative (Parts):
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone email or in person regarding truck and trailer parts availability pricing and compatibility
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts based on their truck or trailer model specifications or part numbers
- Accurately process customer orders using inventory and order management systems
- Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Handle returns exchanges and warranty claims according to company policies
- Maintain current knowledge of trailer parts accessories and industry trends
- Communicate effectively with vendors and manufacturers for special orders or technical support
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions orders and service requests
- Upsell related parts or services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Provide support to field service technicians and sales staff as needed
- All other related tasks
Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative (Parts) position:
- High school diploma or equivalent post-secondary education or technical training in automotive truck or trailer systems is an asset
- One to three years of customer service experience preferably in automotive truck trailer or heavy equipment parts
- Knowledge of truck and trailer parts including axles braking systems electrical components hitches etc.
- Proficient in using computer systems including parts catalogs CRM and order entry software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
