By 2025, Millennials—who will make up 75% of the workforce—will be the most diverse generation yet. This group is more than twice as likely to identify as LGBTQ and is more frequently identifying as non-binary or gender fluid compared to previous generations. This shift highlights the increasing need for workplaces to actively promote gender inclusivity and equality.  Moreover, the impact of gender inequality is often felt early. A 2016 study showed that while 86% of girls aged 7-10 believe boys and girls have the same career opportunities, that number drops to just 35% among young women aged 17-21. This highlights the critical role workplaces play in shaping confidence and opportunities as individuals progress in their careers.
