Dealer Order Specialist
Location: Mississauga
Team: Dealer Order – Ordering Operations
Role Summary
As a Dealer Order Specialist, you will act as the primary liaison between retail stores and internal departments, ensuring timely resolution of supply chain and store order issues. Your role is critical in maintaining optimal in-stock levels and delivering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate store order statuses and create emergency orders as required using the corporate order management system.
  • Provide accurate product availability and estimated in-stock dates using real-time store and purchase order data.
  • Leverage daily distribution centre (DC) plans and transportation tools to collaborate with rapid response teams and integrate urgent orders into scheduled deliveries where possible.
  • Recommend solutions to expedite product flow through the supply chain while balancing service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Replenishment, Transportation, Distribution Centre Operations, Reverse Logistics, Merchandising, Billing, eCommerce, Digital Operations, Retail Systems, and Store Support to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Participate in cross-training across core and specialized processes to enhance team performance and service delivery.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Microsoft Access.
  • Familiarity with order management, inventory, or transportation systems.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or retail operations.
