Job Title: Stand-Up Dock Stocker (Clamp Forklift Operator)
Starting salary: $22.00/hour
Location: Mississauga, ON
Available Schedules to choose from:
- Day shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Afternoon: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand-Up Dock Stocker with experience operating a clamp forklift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and moving product within the warehouse while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up dock stocker equipment and clamp forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Safely transport products to designated storage areas or staging zones.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
- Accurately scan, track, and document inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (picking, packing, labeling, etc.).
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating stand-up forklifts and clamp attachments.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and computer skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs (or as required).
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
