We are hiring an Entry-Level Production Team Lead for our fast-paced food and meat manufacturing facility in Brampton.
This is a working lead role (not a Supervisor position) overseeing production associates while supporting daily production targets, food safety compliance, and line efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support production teams on the line
- Set up production lines and manage shift handovers
- Oversee production of food/meat products
- Ensure daily production targets and KPIs are met
- Manage line changeovers and product transitions efficiently
- Enforce FIFO, GMP, and HACCP standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production areas
- Handle shift-level team issues and complete required documentation
- Complete production records, forms, and checklists accurately and on time
- Work in cold and noisy manufacturing environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in food manufacturing or meat processing preferred
- Meat industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience as a Lead Hand, Line Lead, or Senior Production Associate is an asset
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
