We are hiring a Maintenance Millwright to join a leading North American manufacturer in Woodbridge, ON.
Specializing in low-maintenance exterior building products, they have over 50 years of experience serving residential and commercial construction markets. With a wide range of offerings, they are known for innovation, durability, and design-forward solutions that enhance curb appeal and performance.
What you’ll do:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use CMMS tools for maintenance tracking and scheduling.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and adjust mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and take corrective action to prevent equipment failures.
- Prepare and inspect production lines prior to scheduled start-up.
- Operate various tools and machinery including lifts, power tools, and lift trucks.
- Collaborate with production and other departments to reduce downtime and work effectively both independently and in teams.
What you’ll bring:
- Hold a Red Seal Millwright certification.
- Proficient in reading, writing, math, and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Experienced with computers, including email and Microsoft Word.
- Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, layout drawings, and blueprints.
- Welding and machining experience considered an asset.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapts well to changing priorities.
